Happy (belated) Thanksgiving! I had a great holiday. It was nice to sit back with the family and stuff my face, haha. I'm feeling quite tired today so I'm glad I did all of my housework yesterday! Anyway, I compiled a list of things I'm lusting for right now. More likely than not, I probably won't get any of these things any time soon. Still, I can dream, right?! Don't forget to tell me what's on your list too!
Viktor & Rolf: Flowerbomb
I've never had the pleasure of smelling this but I heard only good things about it.
NARS Etrusque
So, remember how I said I probably won't get any of these things? Well, maybe I'd invest in this eyeshadow. It's my dream gold.
NARS Bougainville
In a nutshell, it's a pretty berry gloss. I'm not a huge gloss lover but this is an exception. I've heard bad things about NARS glosses. The smell, in particular. I have a NARS gloss and yes, it does have that plastic smell but it doesn't bother me!
Guerlain Rouge G: Gardenia
Hello, Rouge G! I've wanted one of these lipsticks for the longest time. I just can't justify the price. They're about $46 USD. That's a lot of cash to drop on just a lipstick. The only makeup item that I invest extra money into is my foundation. Maybe someday I'll take the plunge and treat myself to it.
YSL Rouge Volupte #2, Sensual Silk
This one boasts a $34 USD price tag, but I'd be less hesitant to buy this than the Rouge G. Isn't she pretty? Yes, I said "she".
Clarisonic Mia
Last, but never least, the Clarisonic Mia. I need one of these -- with the sensitive brush heads, of course! I have dry skin. Very, very dry skin with blemishes. These are suppose to clean the skin really well and rid dead skin cells. Sounds like a miracle worker! Does anyone own one of these? What do you think of it?

I've been using Mia for more than a month now. My skin condition has improved so much. It's indeed a little miracle worker :)
Thanks! I wasn't sure about buying it because it's quite expensive and I'd be pretty disappointed if I didn't like it. My skin needs MAJOR help and if my skin looks like crap, then so does my makeup. Thanks again for the input!
I NEED that gold eyeshadow! I am getting addicted to nars....
That Nars gold eyeshadow is beautiful (how did I miss that?) and the YSL rouge, gorge! Nars lipglosses don't bother me either. I love Nars :)
i *love* flowerbomb! i'm one of those girls who wears a perfume forever, but i went on a long trip and forgot to pack my normal scent. i had to go to the airport shop and they didn't have my usual one, so i picked up flowerbomb. it's amazing! i'd highly recommend it!
Hi there! :-))
Flowerbomb is amazing--deep and sensual, but not overly sweet (I think). Guerlain G's are tempting, but the price tag is not! But YSL have 20% off sale now on everything on the website and on orders over $50--use code 'friends'. So maybe can get YSL? :-)
I have Gardenia and it's loveee! The clarisonic is still on my wishlist, can't get myself to buy it even when it's discounted. >_<
Devs- I'm VERY addicted to NARS lately. They have the best holiday collection this year, in my opinion!
Pretty Pink- I knew you'd like that one, being a fellow NARSaholic, hahaha.
Cleopatra- I'll be picking up Flowerbomb post holiday season. You sold me. I like to stick to regulars too... my favorite of all time is Dior's Hypnotic Poison.
Science Beautiful- Thanks for the tip!
Diana - I've been lusting for a Rouge G for at least 6 months. I've had many opportunities to buy it and didn't. I kick myself for it every time!
Hi Katie, Just wondering what camera do you use to take your photo's ?
Im on the lookout for a new camera this christmas and I like the quality of your pics.
I use a Nikon P90. Basically, it's a super zoom. The lens doesn't come off but it takes nice pictures and it's a lot cheaper than the other models. I bought it because it takes a quick picture and I needed that with my daughter, but it worked out well for my blog too! haha
NARS Etrusque is verrry beautiful Katie...Its the most wearable of all the golds I have...You will not regret that purchase...:)
I have a Mia and I do indeed love it. One thing though, don't overuse it or you'll regret it! You can totally overexfoliate and cause an even worse blemish problem than before, I did.
